Rufus
Rufus the Lion dwells in the amber soaked heart of the golden savanna, a place where the sun always feels like a warm embrace and the horizon is a shimmering promise of distant possibilities.
Rufus is slightly famous for his mane, a masterpiece of "organized disaster", a wild, golden thicket that he can spend hours coaxing into what he fondly describes as "majestically wavy." He also has a roar that is truly the stuff of legends, though perhaps for the wrong reasons. To Rufus, a roar is simply a "Mighty Hello" delivered at the very top of his lungs. On the quietest savanna afternoons, he’ll let out a roar so bursting with enthusiasm that he actually startles himself, looking around with wide, bewildered eyes to see who on earth made such a racket.
Rufus is also known for giving confusingly profound advice, often telling those who feel lost: "If you cannot find the path, simply become the grass!"
When the world feels a bit too overwhelming, Rufus looks up to his tall friend Jerry the Giraffe for a "higher perspective."
Jerry has taught Rufus that true courage isn't the absence of fear; it’s having a heart loud enough to drown out the whispers of doubt and a spirit that is always ready to cheer the loudest for someone else’s success.
