Gordon
Gordon the Gorilla lives deep within a peaceful, emerald jungle where the mornings always smell of rain-soaked palm leaves and the velvet sweetness of hidden wild berries. While the rest of the world may see a gorilla as a big creature of thunderous roars and shaking branches, Gordon prefers a completely different rhythm. He is a curious soul with a soft heart, often spending his days after lunch, stacking smooth river stones into tiny, perfect towers and humming low, vibrating lullabies to the sleepy little frogs hiding under the lush ferns. Gordons also loves to bake, especially sticky mango buns.
Whenever someone in his troop feels a little too small in the dark noisy jungle, Gordon waddles over. He doesn't offer a lecture on bravery; he simply sits beside them offering a warm, sticky mango bun and his wonderfully lopsided smile until the world feels safe and sound again.
Gordon is a reminder that true strength isn't found in how loud we can shout or even how heavy we can lift, but in how softly we can speak and act. Most of all, Gordon shows us that sometimes, the best way to be brave is to find joy in building a tiny tower of stones and sharing a warm sticky mango bun with a friend who needs a little extra meaning in their lives.
