LuLu

Lulu the Hippo lives beside a sleepy, slow moving river where the mornings always smell of wild jasmine and soft, sun warmed breezes. Lulu loves to occasionally submerge herself completely under water to protect her sensitive skin and have a friendly conversation with Snappy the crocodile.

Unlike the other hippos who love big splashes and loud yawns, Lulu is a seeker of the gentler things in life. Lulu is an avid collector of heart shaped pebbles, polished over time by the slow moving river. she also has a habit of whispering her weekly shopping list to the dragonflies and she firmly believes that every cloud drifting overhead holds a magical story waiting to be told.

Though Lulu is far too humble to realize it, she possesses a rare and beautiful gift: she makes the world feel softer just by being in it.

Lulu teaches us that being "big and goofy" doesn't mean you can't be delicate and being strong doesn't necessarily mean you can't be gentle. She shows us that the most powerful thing you can do for someone in need, is simply to sit with them quietly, without even saying a word.
